Refund Request Options
We ask that you consider the following:
Community Theatre relies heavily on ticket sales for continued sustainability. 100% of ticket sale revenue is used to produce the Encore Series shows. An average budget per show runs between $80,000 - $100,000 for 8 performances and takes up to 2 years of planning. Over and above, each show relies on an average of 15,000 volunteer hours - equivalent to $225,000 if paid a minimum wage. Unfortunately, due to the current impacts of the pandemic, a number of community theatre companies in the GTA have had no other choice but to cease operations or go dark permanently.

Consider a Transfer Ticket Value as a DONATION:
The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated how Canadians can work together to adapt to a crisis. As a Not-for-Profit Charities, City Centre Musical Productions (CCMP) and Theatre Unlimited Performing Arts (TUPA) have felt the impact of this crisis immensely and yet we will not let it stop us. Your donation will allow us to preserve the well-being of our community and give us all something exciting to come back to when the time is right. Your support of the Arts will never be more meaningful.
You may choose to transfer the value of any number of your purchased tickets as a donation to CCMP or TUPA as indicated on your ticket.
Box Office staff will contact you directly and walk you through the simple process of transferring the value of your ticket as a donation to CCMP and/or TUPA. You choose the number of tickets you wish to donate, and any remaining tickets will be refunded in the form of a cheque. Once Box Office Staff have processed your transaction, you will receive a donation receipt.
For those who wish to receive a Tax Receipt:
Tax Receipts are issued directly by CCMP and/or TUPA. If you would like a Tax Receipt, Box Office Staff will ask for your approval to forward your donation receipt, full name, email address and mailing address to CCMP and/or TUPA at for the purpose of providing you with a Tax Receipt.
Receive a Full Refund
Meadowvale Theatre staff will contact all ticket holders directly by phone to verify your mailing address and to ensure your contact information is up to date in our system prior to issuing the refund by cheque.
