The Year is 1931, the place Berlin.  As the Nazis rise to power life is a Cabaret or at least it is for the British Sally Bowles and the crowd in the tawdry Kit Kat Club.  The life of Sally is followed over the course of a year - her relationship with the American Cliff Bradshaw builds as does the love between Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz, the Jewish Fruit Vendor.  All comes to light under the watchful gaze of the Emcee of the Kit Kat Club.
