Rita Ferguson — CLARKSON MUSIC THEATRE |
President of CMT since 1994, Rita has fulfilled its aim of excellence, having produced 21+ shows - some of Clarkson's very best. Rita is not new to theatre, having emigrated from Ireland an accomplished actress with several roles to her credit, one of which garnered her a Waterford Glass from the Dundalk Maytime Festival Pub Drama for best actress. Other favourite roles include: Mrs. Battersby, Peep Bo, Mama and Mother. Most importantly, Rita values people. Hers is the face with which newcomers to the group have come to associate the "warm CMT welcome". She continues to offer her unique brand of Irish welcome to all who join Clarkson. For that reason, she is much loved by her many friends in Mississauga, and personifies all that is good in community theatre. |
Nancy Reed — MEADOWVALE MUSIC THEATRE |

Nancy started singing using a vacuum cleaner as a microphone and has not stopped since. Nancy has had the privilege of being president of MMT since 2006. She has worked with groups in Scarborough, Etobicoke and London, Ontario after graduating from the Sheridan College Music Theatre program (several years ago). Nancy has taken a turn at performing, directing, producing, and many back stage duties and loves them all. |
